Two weeks! (and my lighting is pretty)

Today was fun — only one panicked Super Bill text today (which way did we way the floor to run in the kids’ rooms — don’t care…)!  Met Rich at the house tonight to see the changes, and as a segue out to dinner for our 20th anniversary. Surprise!  He had smuggled our card table, china, silver and candlesticks to the house, ordered a beautiful dinner from Ike’s, and it was fabulous.  So fun to have our first meal in the new digs!

So all the kitchen appliances arrived today, but they aren’t installed yet.  Lighting is about 90% installed, plumbing is at the 70% mark.  Shoe molding is going in, landscaping grading has begun, and my closet is done.  The kids’ floor looks great, BTW!  

What will tomorrow bring?

Figuring out my new world after being widowed in 2022. Born in the south, grew up on the west coast, but a Minnesotan for 30 years now.     Can you please tell me how big is your house? How long it took you to build it? How much over budget you were? We are planning to build a house very soon. So i need to get as much info as possible. How stressful was it for you? You can email me if you want to.
